Signatures are saved securely as image files in your Tally dashboard. Go to the
Summary or Submissions tab for an overview of the signature files. Click on the signatures files to open them.
For privacy reasons, signatures are not saved as partial submissions.
Export signed documents as PDF
Every signed submission can be exported as a PDF directly from your submissions table. The respondent's signature is rendered in the PDF alongside their answers, so you get a fully signed document — like a waiver, contract, or consent form — ready for filing or sharing, without any extra tools.
- Open your form and go to the
Submissionstab
- Hover over any row in the submissions table and click the
Download PDFsymbol
- Your signed PDF will generate and download instantly
Want to send respondents a signed copy automatically? You can also attach the PDF to email notifications, so a copy of the signed document lands in your inbox (or the respondent's) as soon as the form is submitted.
Integrations
The signature field works with all Tally integrations (such as Notion, Airtable, and more), and you can sync it to any other tool using Zapier, Make, or webhooks.
